Well flat 4k bracket is notorious of being the most toxic in all dota brackets so Im not suprised. Mute button every game and change your pick. Axe > Centaur almost always. Centaur is too easy to be dealt with on the offlane.
Also Treant is very strong for pos 4. Earth Spirit as well as long as you can push the hero to its limits.
So generally 4k is the time where you tighten your picks to limited hero pool to the point that you almost master them so you can work on the other small things from there. And believe me its easier to get from Ancient 2 to Ancient 4 than escaping 4k itself so dont get mad if you lose some games. Just include them on your way up that it happens.

Idk I had 69% win rate on Centaur, 64% this week before yesterday. Then the downfall. Axe is my most played hero but I don't feel as confortable as I used to with him. I've always played 2-3 heroes max in ranked. Now it's not even 4k flat, it's 3690 lol, that's what pisses me off the most. I'm at a level I had already surpassed, reaching 4350 almost effortlessly. When I don't grind cuz of skills but cuz of behavior/enviroiment/teammates, that's what I can't accept
Playing will all chat muted usually will get you reported as well - simmilar to being muted. It's easy to blame someone for the lose that cant defend himself. Just mute toxic people and thats it. And dont act as a mirror, be wiser than them. Dont get influenced by random frustrate in the internet, dont make it affect our game play - just mute. Nowadays I just smile when my teammate nastily tries to contest my farm.
When were you 4350 ? Before the medals ? Its different story now. 4350 is Ancient 3-4 right now.
Axe is pretty straight forward. Battle hunger supports, get Tranquils + magic wand + blink + blade mail.
After that anything your team needs. Utility build with pipe crimson or tanky build with hot, lotus. Or even carry build with hot mljonir if far ahead with counter helix talent.
I was 5k before 7.00. And I didint notice much toxicity on high mmr twitch channels as well (apart from BSJ himself and Sing Sing sometimes) so its just my opinion from observation.

@Lex I was 4350 during the previous season, then dropped to 4002 mmr and stopped playing ranked 'cause I was triggered and didn't want to go back to 3k. Came back in September to recalibrate and got 4002 exactly, after that I dropped to 3680ish, don't know how honestly. These last days I went ranked again and got to 3890, then the final drop to 3687 where I'm basically ruining every ranked game and I'd better stop doing it.

I need to chill in the first place, 'cause I can't even focus anymore, and a good behavior score. Despite muting toxic players and trying to be as nice as possible there's always someone that makes me tilt. In the Ogre game we were doing fine, Pudge ganked top a couple times and I stacked a lot but my neurotic Sven decided to trashtalk on the mic for every small nonsensical bullshit from start to end. Didn't even get bkb vs a Voker. And I was the one that got muted for 24 hours lmao. Meepo "boosters" going 0-4 in 5 min and ruining, shadow amulet Clinkz "smurfing"... Idk.
Yeah I'm terrible with most pos 1-2, especially midlaners. In fact I was thinking of making another account and practicing carries and their mechanics. Depending on others to win is so annoying. But knowing that in the meantime the main account is still 4k would be pretty uplifting.
