Yeah money, that crowd can't appreciate good dota. Lots of good plays from both teams and they ONLY cheer for KILLS from Chinese teams. What a horrible venue. Dead crowd. The Chinese crowd take it too personal. These guys need to chill and enjoy the games.

Well I'd say this phenomenon only happen on China not whole ASIAN (my bad) Because from my own experience Chinese only likes to play with or supports other Chinese people, another reason is probably they don't really understand dota or this whole tournament they only want the crimson treasure which the only way to get that is to attend the international.

I mean gesc indonesia is just a minor with terrible stage i'd say, but despite all the complain and how bad the organizer is, the crowd is cheering like crazy even one and only indonesian team there get eliminated first

During first game tnc vs vg, there are so many awesome teamfight including the last where tnc end up as winner. Im not even tnc fans but I get so hyped in front of my pc. Yet the crowd was total silence as if global silence was casted. I mean, okay quality of the game wont be affected by the crowd, but the crowd enthusiasm makes the game far more exciting
The reason the crowd is so quite if non Chinese team is highlighted or simply doesnt appreciate the game because they were given hand carry plastic dicks (made in China ofcourse) that they need to put in their mouth whenever chinese freaks are losing.
Imagine how pissed they'd be if a SEA or NA team knocked out one of the giant Chinese teams.
The way I see it, if we're trying to get "The International" to go, well... international, maybe host it in a country that isn't lead by a communist regime where it's safe to visit and you don't gotta worry about saying the wrong thing? I've got a few cities in mind...
London, Stockholm, Berlin, basically any capital city of a country where Dota is popular. It'd be cool to see a TI in a city like Tokyo but I don't think the Dota scene in Japan is all that big.

Poor TNC. They got booed by the home crowds. But that is part of sports. If you are the visiting team, don't expect many cheers from the crowd.
Still better than that time when Iraq and Algeria played football together and the home fans (Algerian) began shouting anti-Shia slogans.

we've had that SA guy shouting 'let's go infamous' and the SA casters who cried when infamous did so well. Ceb has said in paris mdl, similar things had happened with french casters.
