I think not because someone get 5k+ in his new acc check this acc. that I saw https://www.dotabuff.com/players/1031970849
i calibrated new account without dota plus at 4.5k, pretty sure it's max unless u got dota plus then u can get 5k
yes for fk sake it literally written 3500 cap is removed but they didnt tell wat's the max limit tho
You have to be on 5k+ average
Play one game in calibration and then for the next season there you play all the 10 games
That's the way you can get 3500+
this forum is full of retards NO U DONT NEED DOTA PLUS U CAN CALIBRATE OVER 3500 BUT IF U SUCK U WONT EASY AS THAT
3500 mmr is the max mmr cap for new accounts. It has been like that for awhile and I can't think of any reasons why valve would change it back to higher mmr cap.
I made a lot of smurf accounts but I stopped because I lost motivation. Back then, subscribing to dota plus giving you access to ranked roles enables an account to calibrate over 3500 until 5000 since ranked roles and standard ranked match have different max mmr cap. However, based from my experience about 4 months ago, I subscribed on 1 month dota plus. My first game was full of immortals and my second until last game dropped to legend's bracket. I was quite disappointed of that for wasting my time and money for 100 games.
I'm not sure if subscribing to 1 month dota plus now will enable your account to calibrate in the 5k bracket but it is safer to assume that it won't because i don't think valve will overlook something like that and return 1month subscription to 5k mmr max cap just like what it used to be.
But since this guy who subscribed to 12 months dota plus subscription https://dotabuff.com/players/1031970849
Calibrated over 5500, it is then safe to assume that only with those who has 1 yr dota plus can calibrate over 5500 if played correctly having high hidden mmr.
Its usually harder to callibrate high mmr, the easier route is winning normal ranked games post callibration.
I callibrated legend 1 at the start of Season 4, now I'm Divine.
Over 150-180 games(100hours worth of playing time) is not worth it if you just played all of those games, just to get 5k then obruptly lose mmr because you just played 100+ games of unranked which is a different environment. Plus divine and immortal players rarely make new accounts because its just too tedious
Anyone there that can post here their other new acc. that calib ancient up or divine 4k to 5k mmr????
^
almost all of you recent matches got minus score, seems like you're stuck in bad teammates and sad support.
yes bro you can calibrate up to immoral with 1 year dota plus. go go go subs now before volvo fix it
@rofl can u post here ur new acc. that calibrated 4.5k? hehe
ok not new, but was my old main I hadnt played for 2 years, doesn't have dota plus and i calibrated 4.4-4.5k and then fed down to 4.1k
