check your PC for corona virus or for real for bitcoin.registry viruses. I used malwarebytes to scout them out and i fixed my black screen. It happens from time to time but like 100 games 1 game or never.I delete also steam/dota2 from registry (backup your registry before doing anything) and reinstall them. I always thought the problem was due to having my dota 2 installed in my new SSD before was in HDD.. but it was all thanks to a bitcoin miner. Check if you've FPS drops in other games as well.
Is your graphics card amd. If it's AMD then it's a common issue which amd themselves have no solution
nvidia it is. And i had some fps drops in other games and it was all due to bitcoin.registry.miner virus 2x.
This has absolutely nothing to do with viruses. The game is poorly optimised for graphics cards manufactured after 2016. I have a high end pc with a Nvidia 1080ti and I also experience this black screen glitch. In some games I also get sharp fps drops (way down into single figures), luckily this usually goes away by restarting the game.
