General DiscussionHow is it possible some new player get VHS so quickly?

Depends what option you select when you first open dota on a smurf. If you select 'I have played Dota 2 before' then the game automatically places you in ~2.5k afaik. Whereas if you select other options you will be placed in very low skill games. I have a smurf where I got vhs after winning my first 5 games, they werent even super crazy stomps either

I think the game also takes into account your efficiency, so make sure you pick cores and get high gpm/xpm in your early games. Even in the Legion Commander game where I underperformed I still got over 900 xpm - all of the games on that account are 600+ xpm/gpm games apart from the Naga one, and I think that heavily influences hidden mmr when you first create an account.

your avg gpm/xpm is pretty low i guess

low APM(ActionsPerMinute) means :
-Bad at the last hit contest
-Your move is predictable, your opponents with skills non target such as earth spirit, puck, Pango, etc can easily hit and burst u down
-Does not use PowerTreats to save a bit of mana when casting spells like most high MMR player do
-Not often click allies/enemy to see what they items and they next items

2 things i did in 2 different accounts is that i bought dota plus and clicked i played dota before, had 600+ gpm and xpm but still normal skill. had good k.d too if that is count.
