pick heroes who can get close and kill those heroes. spirit heroes are the options for mid. or just accept the fact some games are lost and u cant do anythign about that. it hurts, it looks like a free win, but thats part of living in a society i guess
Sniper is a good hero during hg pushing. Because of vision, towers and buy back that make him hard to kill.
But in Sniper game always ends because Sniper or his teammate leaves hg to farm and die.
Or your team can push hg or not while receiving sniper damages.
If your game is a pro match, your team will not push hg. They will farm and wait for the Sniper team to leave their base.
Wait for rs, buy back ready and at least 20k networth ahead. That's why we don't see Sniper often in pro matches.
But in pub games everyone is a solo player. It's hard to make every one have the same idea to push hg or not.
So they will choose to push hg when they are ahead. In this situation you have to push hg with your team. If you don't you will get reports and lose also. When your rank is higher you will get teammates that understand how to push hg with sniper more and more. 
OK but is there any way i could win this game? Any items i couldhave gone or my teammates? I usually get free wins against sniper, even this game his teammates were flaming him so hard as their entire team got fucked in the ass with me being everywhere on the map, but in the end it didnt matter as i couldnt do shit agianst his hg defence. What COULD i have done to win this, theres gotta be something.
u need pick off kill before going high ground to a lineup that good at defending it is basic dota2

Aegis, push as 4 while one, most likely Lycan, split pushes the opposite tower. Pudge should have yoloed in with lotus and blademail to tank and reflect all the damage possible while keeping them busy, DW in the back for Void's chrono and imo there's a couple aeon disks missing. I would have dived even as far as t4 as Pudge just to allow the team to wreck the racks, even 5 sec would have been enough between DW aghs, Lycan, Necronomicon and TB. Definitely wasn't a "slowly but surely" push 'cause enemy team's spells were too punishing.
What Apipe said was right, you guys don't have good initiate on sniper, and they have a really good defense and range. Because they are stuck in their base, you can have the opportunity to farm their jungle and basically getting more gold than ever, until they start out of their position and you can initiate.
But what if they never get out? Tell Pudge or someone to buy initiate items, when the Pudge jump tell him not to immediately active bm because you can't do damage on taunted unit, then you can make the sniper busy with your bm while your backline attacking the tower or their front line, tb is really good at pushing tough.
You could win this game if TB takes meta range takent and you slow siege from distance.
You cant push without a pickoff in this draft.
welp thats a rough game then. Tb ended up getting a 2 week ban after getting reported by pudge dw and lycan, sad even though it wasnt his fault. Only in sea boys, only in sea boys. Ofc the bloodstone pudge deserved nothing but 5 commends.
Also snapfire who got fucked in the ass reached lvl 25 and almost one shot the lycan, i mean wtf icefrog
As a lycan player what i do in these situation is we push say bot tower with team i send my wolves to the top tower use shapeshift little bit do chip damage to bot tower cauing enemy team to group up then i run to top tower by that time the wolves already there will have done some damage and died ,again span wolves necro hand hit this way you slowly take the rex.however t4 will be difficult..you can easily get mega with this strat
The most important part of dota 2 is the attitude. Being PMA is definitely a way to win. Second where's your initiation? Whose going to catch the heroes in back lines? I see no items that are being made for catching enemy heroes. Having an aegis and trying to lure enemy out of the base is the most crucial think. You can always bring your creeps to the enemy t3, but if you can't push it sniper can wait all the time in base to afk farm at t3-4 using shrapnel. Your line up is basically hit and run. If works its great if not then its not. And the other way is to try and split push their bsae.
1. sniper counters viper
2. You cannot beat void+ sniper late game unless you pick them off
3. Don't go Hg eventually the enemy will throw
4. 10k networth is not a big advantage against strong higher ground defense

Need help on what went wrong this game, where even though we were bascially 10k networth ahead at all times, it was impossible to push hg, how do i win games like these?
If anyone could watch the replay, would be great, but for those who wont, here it is the gist-
Basically we were at their t3's by 25 mins, and were snowballing. I was on the viper ( dont flame me, i see sniper, i pick viper. One toxic hero to counter the other) and i know i fucked up a lot late game. When it was time to push hg, we secured aegis and tried to push, howveer their fkin sniper does 600 dps and kills almost anyone who gets close. Also sniper bought mkb which just shreds through our tbs health pool.
Our lineup really had no hero that could instantly jump the sniper. At best we had a lycan, but then they had a fkin pheonix wyvern that would supernova or curse anything that go near to the sniper. On top of it all they got a void, who would just get a free kill anytime a hero walked up to the sniper.
So yeah, how do we win games where its impossible to push hg with all 5 fkers camping inside, do i just hope the sniper wanders outside or what? Please do let me know, in my dog bracket this happens frequently
