The only challenge there is lies in the fact that there's no pre-match role/lane selection.
That is the only thing, which needs to be fixed.
Everything else is fine in Dota 2.
People will be toxic/pretentious no matter what, because they are people. There's no way to fix it, so that ain't an issue.

A team of engineers I work with have been building a product to help overcome some of the challenges with matchmaking, team building, and other social issues people commonly run into when playing Dota.
