Originally with the change of spirits, I thought the combo was over. I myself enjoyed playing it with my twin brother. The buff of moving the slow with the spirits is just perfect. My twin and I would always hate the fact that he had to use the tether on the hero because he'll usually die in the process. With the change, I'll be able to tank all the hits while he in the back slowing them down and providing attack speed. I hope a pro team uses a combo, it would be interesting! (I know Alliance used the combo in TI ,but something recent)

As i made post few days ago this combo get even better actually.
Why?
-Io become natural drums builder which make your combo (S&Y ck) moving at haste speed 550 - this is serious fun.
-spirits slow (transfer from tether) is amazing and clearly genius idea from icefrog
-buff to aoe colision for spirits and explode aoe are also good and a bit negate nerf on spirits controling.
Ck and io both could be now strong early-late this is probably most appreciated part of this combo as you can have a lot of fun killing heroes all the gametime.
Already tried that,its more fancy than effective lvl 20 io + wr is hilarious but she can still ulti only one hero.Could be good offlane with her 460 dmg nuke and infinite mana from io soul ring.
