Not really that cool. I can understand your point. However, this would actually piss of players playing support as they usually deal the least damage. How does it feel to know that you tried freaking hard to win the game, yet the one who farms 40 mins ends up dealing the most damage. Ain't so cool.
How is it not cool? Supports are supposed to do least damage, have least XPM/GPM/kills etc. If you feel bad about those things as a support player then don't play support at all. Those endgame stats are not there for bragging but for informational purposes.
buys animal courier, sentry wards, observer wards and a salve as starting items. supports his carry whole game, pulls places wards, never steals a last hit even if 40 gold remaining to buy boots. wards out of stock. flying courier asap. meka, even makes vladimir's on crystal maiden to make team stronger.
Personally, I always compliment such kind of players, no matter if we lose or win, and regardless of their KDA.
It's not about lack of kills and gpm. It's about 0 attention and gratefulness from the team.
And I don't also see any point of knowing how much % of the damage done by your team is coming from you.

Would be really cool if you could see how much damage each individual hero dealt to enemy heroes as a raw number and as a % number of the total hero damage dealt by his team.
