This is one of the most commonly asked questions on the forum. Valve does not retain replays indefinitely anymore unless you go into the dota 2 client and save them. Since valve does not have it dotabuff can't get it.
If you have a good game you want to keep be sure to download it as soon as you can so it will be saved on your account.
