I was kinda' expecting them to beat Dignitas, but beating Liquid was quite a surprise!

Well this is why so many were calling for Kaipi to be in TI3 qualifiers. They have a lot of talent, a lot of potential. Its too bad they were not quite ready when they needed to be this year.

Liquid made a few to many mistakes...but these are just 1 game things. I don't think KP would be very likely to beat either of those teams in a best of 3. Dignitas lost because of Aui2000 walking in way out in front and getting hexed => dead twice in a row late game. Of course Eternal Envy fed twice with aegis also...but he was so much less likely to die in those situations. Dignitas had to get everything right to kill him. Tiny got hexed was just gone in seconds, he never got out of chicken form the 2nd time.

Liquid played with a standin...a very good standin, but the team chemistry is just not quite same. Winning against a partial team does not count.

Liquid and Dignitas coin flipped rather than bother to play the the tie-breaker against each other. That gives you an idea of how important they thought these games were.

kaipi could be tier1 team without envy and that guy who plays solo mid

if replaced by decent freelancers from europe it could work out

imo envy has poor decisionmaking and its main thing for carry to have and the solo mid guy is just not experienced at all

^agree EE makes lots of poor choices pretty much every game. This is the cause of most of their loses, but its his team so...I doubt he is going anywhere.

But you have to remember Envy is pretty nub. Listen to him cast, he dosen't even know what some of the skills do. He is still learning the game. He has a lot of talent and will get better in time.

well guess with time he will get his shit together same for their mid guy but i think bone7 and napiedele(not sure of real name) has potential to be tier1 team players same with cwm just he has to stop being bitch

I was quite impressed when I saw bone7 playing in Dreamhack with mouz. He didn't even feel like a standin and played generally better than qoqjva.
