My main issue was this:

That's fucking bullshit. Telling us that dire tide isn't happening because a major patch is coming would have been sufficient, dropping some hints or a random screen shot of something coming up would have done them wonders too.
Not communicating at all, not only during/just before dire tide, but also from the months following TI3 is inexcusable, and they are making this announcement an entire week after dire tide is really shitty.
I'm happy that they actually have said something now, but not only should it have been a week or earlier ago, but to come up with some shitty ass argument about how we would be even more upset if they communicated is getting me worked up a bit.

Along with a long list of excuses and somewhat apoligies. They still should have said something beforehand. But next major patch will include the return of Diretide.
