ATM, heroes and lane composition matter more than MMR. 3000-4000 players play roughly the same. it's all luck & picks. My rating actually gone up since ranked started so is my winrate.
this is not the point if u play vs stack or not, i want to be noob playing vs noobs, not medium skilled player playing vs noobs one game and next game vs much more skilled players. how for that time valve didnt create a good system that will bring joy to the players instead of 1000 hats that are useless i dont give a shit how cool look my hero when im getting owned. its just stupid playing this game casually.
The probably is valve thinks that
Noob+Noob+Noob+Retard+Dendi is equivalent vs Intermediate +Intermediate +Intermediate +Intermediate +Intermediate is fair match making. It takes only 1 retard to drag the team down, both mentally and in game wise.
Guess the only way to play this game without experiencing opness is by creating your own stack.
Well i had more good matches in ranked, 85% are still stomps but the other 15% are decent, i just wish there were some more modes for rankning, captains draft is not really funny if you just encounter kids that think their are a godsend.
Its too early to blame the mmr, it needs a few more months to get a balanced ranking.
like people said above if you put 5 people with even rating vs 5 people with the same even rating and even assume that they're all of equal skill level, MMR, etc...if it turns out one team has all support players - which is how they got mmr- versus the other team who has a balanced spread, the game's gonna end up in a stomp because the support players will be playing at a lower level (probably) on the two farmers and mid whereas the balanced spread team is able to perform all roles at a higher level.
now obviously the support role is probably unlikely and most players can play a decent level at all heroes...but they usually have favorites, and if the favorites of one team dont blend as well as the favorites of the others then you're gonna be at an obvious disadvantage, one thing thats obviously wrong in MM but can't be accounted for.
one thing that may be interesting is if players queued for certain roles..would maybe lead to more balanced MMR if you had a different MMR for each role while not really dividing the player base further plus may be an incentive for more players to play the less-played roles.

is it for real that every game is onesided, u destroy or be destroyed as shit. valve mmr is kinda bullshit, peace. playing solo vs full stacked tryharders and shit what the fuck is this. my advice to all who read this is - if u dont make money with this shit stop playing it, i bet i doesnt give u pleasure, just hatred, sadness, anger and shit. peace
