I don't think this is dotabuff's fault, it may be Firefox that needs to fix something. I'm not very tech savvy though, so don't take my word for it.

I'm using Windows 7. Furthermore, Firefox uses its own engine to render those symbols. I'm pretty sure it's dotabuffs fault. They are using unicode letters that aren't supported by Firefox. It came after last Dotabuff update. I'm sure it's a bug introduced by that update.

Using Firefox, those tiny simbols (like the check marks after verified players) are replaced by unknown unicode letters.
