have you tried rushing Orchid Malevolence as QW invoker?
and then playing like a Clinkz, Ghost walk into the enemy woods looking for kills with orchid + cold snap/emp and tornado if needed
wow.. that is pretty great!! but i think getting a radiace would be much better if you want to do that because emp is much like a silence lol
QE Invoker - Carry
Item build - Midas, Phase, blink, Euls, Aghs, Refresher
Situationals - Hex, MKB, Forcestaff, Orchid
QW Invoker - Early/Midgame teamfights + ganker
Item build - Phase, Blink, Orchid, Forcestaff, Aghanims, Refresher
Situationals - Hex, Euls, MKB, Drums (if nobody else gets and you really want one early on)
And no deadbot, radiance is a troll item on invoker. The reason why EMP isnt like a silence is because later on, it wont drain all of their mana, plus they could always use spells before it goes off (eg. antimage blink). You get orchid so that you instantly silence them and start cold snapping them to death + you do 30% bonus damage.

Don't Aghanim on a wex/quas Invoker. Use my "Day Stalker" build for w/q.
Do satelizers build doing QW invoker with orchid, but on top of that grab a radiance............. it is the dirtiest of the dirty ghost walking with a radiance, and silencing people so they can't escape.
I mean IDK whats dirtier, a QW invoker with a radiance, or a hooker at 7:00AM after her shift is over.
Caveman seems to be well aware of hooker's schedule which makes me think... <_<
Just started practicing Invoker and it seems that QW version is quite overrated. On the other hand QE Invoker can farm like god because of incredible damage boost and being able to tank jungle with summons and somewhere in the midgame he can just cold snap+right click people to death with his army of forge spirits and demons providing true sigh, armor debuff and attack speed buff on top of that.
Running around invisible at maximum speed is fun and all but few ganks that went wrong is pretty much an end to QW invoker :(

Dont get aganim on invoker before you played him alot of games its rather pointless and never do it on QW.. try going midas or phase or eul or forcestaff or orchic.
Orchid is amazing on QW invoker!
Also try doing 1 point in exort in the start while rushing Phase on QW invoker for lasthitting.
Also usually dont go Drums as its overall bad item and something you can go if you need extra Hp and have bad farm.
Also try using BKB more often and Necros is allways fun! =)
HEX is also Amzing
Most of my games i go Midas into Phase into Orchid into HEX
I sometimes do Damge build on invoker which is funny as fuck! Go crit deso mkb!
aghanims is great later on for qw invoker when you have more exort points making your other spells useful to use after your tornado+emp.

i tried getting mkb+scotty and just use alacrity to burst down PA when I was really ahead once.. I should try getting divine rapier on him to troll if I meet one of those russians who pick pudge all the time. Would really teach them a lesson well I will admit, sometimes they raped my ass hehehehe when I was relatively new to dota,,, I just stood like a noob and called everyone hacks if I didnt like them heheehe :)

and Orchid/Vyse is a core if you are QW

I have played 58 games with Invoker out of 505 games... this was recently that I really enjoyed playing him even though I was terrible at first. My win/loss rate is 65.5% with KDA ratio of 4.85. I know that invoker is a carry but I feel he mostly gets outcarried in late game.... but sometimes i fail to accomplish much in mid game in order to have an impact so my team can have easier time in late game. Tell me some item choices..... I play quas wex invoker like 90 percent of my 58 games..... rush scepter after phase boots + drums. I really like drums on invoker because not only it give u extra movement speed when u need it, that bonus stat is so nice when it come to last hitting+ ganking. Or is it a mistake to get drums of indurance?
1). Is arcane boots a good recommendation for invoker rather than phase if u decide to go exort invoker??
2). What is your item choice for him in late game so you can compete with others? do you get right click items like mkb, dadleus(?) or do you go for utility such as dagon, sheep stick, refresher?
