one of my friends has been claiming that veil reduction is bugged with damage over time effects and does not get applied
@Flop♥4 because after watching the hero being played I realized it was the new earth spirit of sorts (I missed out on the benefits that hero gave to rank and win rate)
Veil is good yeah. It is probably a better pickup than some other items I go but the game is usually over after we get Mek and gem anyway. :p

Just started playing phoenix and was wondering why veil isn't picked up? Is there a particular reason?
It would seem to me once you get Spirits - Icarus Dive - Ult it would help to applify the magic output but I could be wrong, care to explain best practice. Keep in mind I know next to nothing about the her bar what I used to remember from dota1 where the spirits had to "charge up" to get more damage from the cast. The last 5 matches is pretty much all I have played of Phoenix to date.
