Funny thing is, since the patch was implemented, I've seen nobody praising it and QQ threads have only gotten more common.

Look at what bitching about "language barrier" and "communication issues" on a game where speaking the same language mostly allowed to actually understand the flames did. Sorry you were affected by it Zenoth, you are one of the nicest people in here.

every time he posts i just get the popcorn out cuz it's that amusing to see him flame someone (usually with some combination of phrases including "sub 5k," "peruvian filth," "dumb autist," etc.)

definitely not, every 2 games would be with players at least close to my rating, now I haven't seen a single one since the patch...

furthermore I used to scout the average MMR of my match by looking at what page it was on, but thanks to solo matchmaking the games are pushed all over the place and now I no longer have any idea what the different page averages are. when I cant even find my game in the first 20 pages its gonna be bad....

The quality of games dropped a lot lately, in both ranked and unranked. I dont know what's the reason for it, but i get the same response from a lot of players i know.

This is the shit I was talking about zenoth. I commented on the whole nine yards of situations like this that still exist and I gave you an answer on how to fix it. You swore up and down that that is not how it works. Now look at you complaining about this. you can blame it on the patch all you want and think that its something that happened recent enough to be relevant. But imo its exactly the same. Now i'm in your shoes and your in mine.

It makes me sad that you are one of those "Has to happen to me first" kind of people to realize something.

i know that feels man it gets worse when mmr decides to pair u up with people more than 1k below u and it practically becomes a 1v1 with the other higher rated player on the opposing team

My friend, also playing on SEA, suggested to me that I should try to change my language preferences to Chinese (even though he doesn't speak any. I can understand a little). He says that the quality of teammates improve and that even though you don't understand anything, they know how to play more than those who set their preferences to English.

I haven't tested this theory, but I put my faith on his opinion. Prior to doing this his max MMR was 3.7/8k. After setting it as such, he has now broken 4k and his MMR is still rising.

Now I won't know how this might work in your extremely high level, but I guess it's worth a shot.

what language did you pick, what time of the day and do you pick heroes that deal a lot of hero damage? we are in the same boat actually (i get lots of TBD players in my matches, my record is 3 and sometimes i try to guess who is the TBD lolz), but whats most important for you to know is that languages were not "added" back into the game, it's still disabled so people cant stack with friends in ranked solo again

also if you get 5k+ players in ur team how can you complain lol i would take that over 2-3 TBD players lolz
