Of course mmr doesn't make the player, you always have the chance to improve. Is the player that makes the mmr, if you suck at the game and have shitty mechanical skills and bad understanding of the game you'll be <2.5k without a doubt.

no but if you were to put everyone in a 500-mmr range of each other (say 3-3.5k) pretty much everyone would be in the correct bracket when compared against other brackets
