does 1 vs 1 affects winrate? in General Discussion

Most of the time I win mid in a normal 5 vs 5 game
But I somehow always lose when playing 1 vs 1
So does it affects my winrate?

No, 1v1 doesn't affect your overall winrate, however it does affect "Other 13 76.92%" on your profile.
You can see on your profile: "Custom 4 0.00%"

Dunno why it says "Other" on my profile, and "Custom" on yours.

The reason you might win mid more often in normal games is that you get ganks or something, in the 1v1 mode it's more about capitializing on enemies mistakes, and outplaying them.

Same could be said in normal games, but in normal games you don't play mid 1v1.
Also the mindset in a 1v1 and a normal 5v5 should be different.

        Thanks a lot.
I'm worried cause you know lots of players have below 50% winrate lol

You shouldn't be worried about your winrate.
Winrate doesn't show how good you are.

I have a smurf (not tryhard, play when im very tired and know I'll underperform) that I got 4500 rating on a while back, while having 43% winrate. Some abandons, some loses. (OBVIOUSLY)

Just think about improving. Don't think you're better than your team-mates.

Also, watch pro games and adapt.

Personally I'm not really sticking to one role, but as for late I'm usually playing offlane and Support. As the meta changes, you need to adapt. Clockwerk offlane isn't as popular as before, however Phaseless Void is a hero that gets more seen and people actually shows his actual Strenght.

Not going lategame with 6 items killing anything inside that damn ugly chrono, but the utility of his ultimate.
Thus far I'm 100% winrate with faceless void offlane. LOL, two games though. I'll most likely catch up more later.

Owait, this probably has nothing to do with the topic. I'm tired, nvm. Probably whatever I wrote here you found informative, idno.
