As stated on the thread title, its been super hard for me to increase my kda ratio for my Sniper, when i get a good streak like 10-5, it only increased a bit, however when i got a sh*t score, it drops like crazy :(

    please help!

how are we supposed to help you?

10-5 isn't a good streak at all unless you have lots of assists. KDA = (Kills + Assists) / Deaths. Go and do the math game by game and you'll see that your KDA is very low in most games. Also, you have to take into account that if you have 100 matches with 2.0 KDA and 1 with 10 KDA, of course your overall KDA won't change much.

        beyond imaginable

23 - 10 - 8 - 3.1 kda. you have average 2.78 kda over 117 games, You got 0.32 kda more than you average, it's nothing when you have 117 games. If you had 20 or 30 kda, you average kda would increasy, but not so much. Sorry for my bad english

you can see your total kills, deaths, and assists with a hero by going into the 'most game impact tab.

            currently its at 1060 kills, 784 deaths and 1120 assists. total kills + assists = 2180. kda = 2180 / 784 = 2.78

            prior to your 23/10/8 game it was at 1037 kills, 774 deaths an 1112 assists. total kills + assists = 2149. kda = 2149 / 774 = 2.77.

1 good score or 1 bad score doesn't make a difference when there's such a large sample size of kills. 23 kills is nothing in the grand scheme of 2k kills + assists, it's barely 1% of your total. the reason an equal amount of deaths has a larger impact is because you have a smaller number of deaths. the smaller the number the bigger the effect it has on ratios.

for example. going from 1 to 2 deaths halves your kda ratio, making it 50% lower than before, whereas going from 10 to 11 deaths only makes it about 10% lower. the same idea applies when you die 1 death, because 1 death when you have ~700 deaths is a bigger deal than getting 1 kill when you already have ~2k kills/assists.

            TL;DR - you don't know basic maths.
