Instead of hero cards showcase in pick / ban stage that spectators and casters see in DotaTV (see picture below) I suggest my to use cinematic showcase
I wouldn't be against having full hero models. However, it's more of a question of what fixes need to be made before it can be added. Like, how high on priority is this change? Not to be hateful but just honestly not very. There are other things that should be ironed out rather than to make a complex change to the hero representation.
Basically, instead of seeing hero portraits, he wants to see the full hero models glaring at each other from like the high ground at their Tier 3s, doing idle animations, and making dialogue (like Kunkka and Tide expressing their tsundere love).

Sure, I understand that. Still we get new hero selection screen, weather effects, flying camera at loadings stage and stuff. I just wanted to know if the idea is really 'meh' and everybody just loves cards, or it's some way viable. :)

This is all true. I wouldn't say it's "meh". Any productive idea that enhances something is better imho. *Thumbs up* I don't see how this could do anything besides draw more attention with cosmetic updates as such. Really only good can come from it, unless it's like ridiculously PC intensive, if so RIP melody doto.

I've noticed that in some recent movies about dota 2 (Free To Play, DotaCinema's and other) there are shots or heroes standing in the line on highground and they look absolutely amazing to the chills.
For example, from Dota Cinema's "A game of chess" for Dire side
Of course there isn't enough space for 10 heroes in one line (and even in two lines actually), because there'll be no free space for pick/ban timers, banned heroes, etc. So I remembered layout from Magicka Wizard Wars.

So, instead of standard pick/ban with hero portraits we get whole models, stretching muscles, noding to their ally and shacking fist and throwing some catchphrases to their rivals.
I know that there's little to none chance that this is get implemented, just wanted to know what you're thinking.
