you cant for illusions. for 1 to be hero 2 everythinn and 3 rest (but not hero) you have settings in dota in the keybind section. you cant permanently bind illusions, that would make naga too easy
I unno. Good question. I select and hotkey everytime I summon/spawn something and rebind it. Starcraft habit.
Think theres a progarm that allows you to do so, I dunno but, it would make naga easier once you got radiance. THough like others said you have to rebind them, with the Shift + Number key..
i always rebind summons (treants, illusions, meepos, necros)
but after 1 bind on illusions, they remain that hotkey for the rest of the game and even next games, if im not wrong.
i binded Z to select all other units (which means it will select every unit you control except your hero, its good for naga).
to micro naga illusions, you press Z (in my case) and then send the first one to one camp, then you shift + left click the portrait of the illusion you just sent to a camp. Shift + Left clicking a unit there will de-select that unit from the group. Then you send the next one to another camp, left click it from the illusion group, and send the last one to another camp.
It looks complicated because its hard to explain with my broken english, but its really simple.
It works with meepo aswell. Lets say you are in the middle of a fight and you have 1 low hp meepo, you use the key bind you have to controll all the meepos, and click somewhere safe. After that, you shift click (in the meepos interface you have in the left) the low hp meepo (that will deselect him, which means you will control all other meepos), then you click the new group you just made (with all meepos except the low life one) to get back to fight.
Again, this looks complicated but its so easy and doesnt take more than 1 second
I do same thing, but with terror blade and lycan, a little easier as there's just two usually. X is select hero, C illusions, V everyone.

I appologize if this already exists somewhere. Recently I started using control groups, and its pretty self explanitory for heroes like lone druid, meepo, and chen where your summons are permanent. However, with naga, enchantress, pl, etc., it seems that control groups that I bound disappear when the illusions/summons die, so I have to rebind when I use the skill again. That makes it barely even worth using. How can you make it permanently have 1 be hero, 2 be everything, 3 be illusion 1, 4 be illusion 2, etc etc?
