Im not stupid to get fucked over like that but the question is - why do they want me to add someone else? Like, why cant they attempt the scam on the account they have added me? First thought "its their main" but whats the problem to find me on their scamming account and add me? Is there really some sort of daily limit to add people (one of them mentioned that) and thats why?

my old acc got scammed like this a year ago and i was lucky team support returned my stolen items and my account back in 6-8 days

I remember a pathetic way I got scammed once, tho. Wanted to exchange accounts with someone, I think he actually sent "his" account info first but it turned out to be fake. Good thing it was just like cs 1.6 there
i didnt knew about this scam.. i was ingame and i alt tabed cause i had made an offer for a worthy item.. and i got slapped in the anus damn! that was a big lesson for me!
