Last time I played Dota1 I went Viper and built mekanism, people on were furious and called me all manner of insults. I did a null build on NP and the same thing, people asking why I am not cliff farming and going necro etc etc.
The level of skill from Dota1 players to Dota2 does sometimes amaze me.
Dota 2 is waaaaaay more competetive but you still met 1 or 2 good players at times. In my both Naga games I faced 1 guy which actually knew what he was doing
I'm really curious to know why people still play dota1 today besides not having a decent PC
1 game of dota 2 costs you around 60 mb
whilst in dota 1 its around 2 mb
Also if you are super casual about it, you simply dont care
The last time I played it Legion Commander and drow ranger were picked almost every game. And sometimes they
flamed me for going dagger Dagon + e blade on tinker.
I remember the times I got BF on Tide, ES and PL just because their attack animation changed with it :D
think simple qb was changing their animation as well. tide would always spin, pl would jump and es would "totem".
good times..
Still you eventually had to sell QB while Battlefury stayed all game. Also all those heroes had mana problems as well.

yeahhh :D i use to play dota 1 on Bnet when i need to relax and chill late at night!! its so good and feels so different! also reminds us our childhood game!! never forget!! btw i still play Ladder on bnet too!
Yeah I know. Anchor Smash actually used to be a passive. %20 chance to deal 200 damage in an AoE or something.
It is called Slam-Animations and is proc-ed at bashed and crits and such. (QB was a crit)

So since about 2 weeks my internet is complete bullocks and I just decided to try play dota 1.
Soooooooooooooooo, what happened.
I got remembered so many things this game!
First 2 games I played Naga, first game they were totally calling me noob for going for radiance and they were totally not aware of its strength.
Later I randomed Timber on which i had default hotkeys T, D, E , C but it worked for me, wisp with treads shiva heart sny that game
Later I played Sven, I laned with a techie and faced a dangerous and well known Axe + Furion combo and reminded me of how much that stuff did not matter in my old times where you would just lane anything and still be fine with it.
So many memories, just play 5 games with it and you will be reminded of so much and also about how flawed the game was in some sense in comparison to dota 2 :D
