imo, stacking skadis is extremely situational, maybe if you are up against shitloads of physical damage and you need the extra mana if you're constantly splitpushing.
I could be wrong though, thoughts?

A #1 that deal no damage is useless, you'd rather want to be full glass canon, then full tank, when you took so much creep
Yeap Hex is a really strong vs tinker even after manta
option 2 : you can make diffusal (specially early) and use it when he uses ghost + always remember that your ultimate can ministun and prevent him from tping

They had no hard carries, so the game went on really long. I'll make it simple and short. No stacking skadi's is never optimal and viable. You only see pros doing it because they trolling and stomping the game. In that game you should have went bkb and hex. and maybe even refresher.
Yeah not getting bkb early was probably the biggest mistake because instead of trying to rat, we could have just won fight and then take towers. Probably wont go this tank build again and focus on other options like hex if I face a team like that again.
You should've gone serious mode as TB if they have Timbersaw, not stacking skadi like that.

stacking skadi is perfectly fine if enemy is mostly magic damage, its just that its abit pointless against a fat tinker since hex insta kills.

I've tried 2 hearts PL vs a good timbersaw, I didn't stand a chance.
That's not how to play illusion heroes effectively, maybe?
It sound a bit stupid but i had to resolve into getting BKB for PL and won the game.
If you want teamfight TB, at least you need daedalus with or without BKB
what u mean damage. skadi is +25 agi, butter is 30 agi. butter against physical dps, skadi for magic.

Burning did actually, i saw him built 2 hearts in tournament as PL 1 year ago.
I believe it was the match where PL suddenly become popular in competitive scene when he vs Zhou's AM (G-League)
And like noob always do, i tried to copy him but of course failed miserably.
I didn't mention butterfly at all.. but butterfly add 30 more damage and attack speed

2hearts pl is bad anyone who does that is misinformed.
yup, tarasque + well placed skady in inventory is way better for pl

Hey guys, I browse this forum quite a bit and was wondering if any tb players can help on this one. I ran into this game: http://www.dotabuff.com/matches/892202533
and there were probably a million things I could have done better but I was wondering if I itemized correctly? That team I was facing didn't have a lot of physical damage so I saw no point in stacking bflys. Was this the correct choice? Or heart would have been better?
Maybe I should have just gotten bkb early and fight before tinker got farmed and they got their hexes but the main question is if stacking skadis is ever viable and optimal?
