Would this be better than the more conventional kids out there?
Sure he could semi-win lane vs heroes such as Magnus, but what will he really offer outside of landing phase?
Something better than the current meta kids?

why not offlane? also.. i think undying can be a viable safelane support as he have a very high zoning out potential .. just my theory

So, does anyone try UNDYING mid ?? I think it's pretty usefull, especially against melee heroes. Enemy mid hero will always have around 200- 300 hp. Once he comes closer to your tower, you just put your freaking tomb down and the hero is dead for sure.
From that point u can easily snowball the entire game.
Any ideas??
