Illusions? Stats? Mindplays? Poof on Illusions? More possibilities? Gives increased usefulness in the game if a good player utulizes it?
Owell, quite obvious in my eyes. Both are good items however.
Manta is not really good on Meepo. The movement speed and attack speed is kinda wasted and the stats given is inferior to Skadi. Only the illusions are useful. Skadi stacking is a better idea.
ddsama,illusions do just 33% damage ,and meepo has around 100-200 damage late game. so,those illusions arent rlly good.eblade has better stats. never seen xcalibur use manta for a mindplay. thats right ,you can poof on illusions,but does this really help you? i mean,would you want to spend 5k gold to poof on a illusion?
Skadi provides solid +25 to all stats. 6 slotted meepo is quite easy at about 40 mins in game. Meepo needs slot efficient items, you shouldn't waste slot for inferior items unless you are losing.
- Meepo Manta illusions have double stats. So two illusions you create have 2x your str, agi and int. (if you have aghs, and u will have aghs)
- You can puff to them
- You confuse the shit out of enemies
- They apply Geostrike (not sure)
Good for splitpushing, checking if the high ground is clear, killing people if they try to defend solo and waste their spells on illusions, as you can poof to them, MS for the main meepo, extra tower damage, disjoining spells. It is situational, as always. Sometimes you dont care about the enemy team dps, you go eblade. Sometimes you need a disable (for ember e.g), so you go hex, sometimes you just better of with raw stats (skadi). And sometimes, you want to splitpush, scout, create mindgames, so you go manta. Extra geostrike stacks arent really important.

Its more for split pushing via poofs, map control as well as having another way of initiating. You can't just walk up/roam solo and clear the illusions since meepo can just poof on you, at the same time you cant ignore it cos its easily one of the tankiest illusions out there thanks to the attribute sharing bonus as well as meepo's already high magic resistance and fast lvling. I think the slow stacks as well but its just icing on the cake.
As meepo, you can also use the tanky illus to breach high ground and tag it to some squishy support as a way of zoning them.
If im not mistaken, the manta illus shows the 6 slots of the main meepo, so its damn obvious they are illus and not clones unless your oppo are just retarded.

manta gives slight movement bonus. I remember back in the day Universe or some pro actually went manta for this over mkb/treads brood. The stats aren't bad too.
Why is everyone ignoring what I said above? Illusions have TWICE the str, agi and int of original Meepo. Meaning twice the HP, DMG, IAS...
The reason behind this is that they have normal stats like any other illusions, but they benefit from Agahims Divided We Stand 100% stats sharing at the same time.
illusions do have geo strike. its fine if you want to push easier. otherwise there are better items.

can please someone explain me why xcalibur or another players build manta on meepo? i mean,is with a little bit more expensive then eblade,which gives you better stats for all mepoes
