Who you play when you calibrate does not have that big of an impact on your MMR, you have to remember that you are starting at your hidden MMR (biggest factor), as long as you pick heroes that you can do ok with (regardless of role) during calibration, the difference between choosing core and non-core shouldn't matter THAT much (again, the exception is if you are a much better core player).

I would say that your first 10 games (on your account, so yes, unranked) are the most important of all, you can get to VH in 1-2 games and booted up really high if you continue to dominate in the next few games. I've seen people get first and second page games with single digit total games played. But yeah, your first few games are when your mmr is most sensitive. That's why you see some shit bads with like 55-60% win rate that are still in the normal bracket while there are others who are in VH and have a decent MMR that have <50% WR

Ive done pretty good till now failed only 2 games but my friends smurfing too and they r low skilled and im stacking with them till i get lvl 13 shpuld i solo games ? Im not sure if im in top 5 pages yet cuz my friends r in normal maybe high skill still when i stack with them its always very high i will try solo 2 games today to see if i reach top 5 pages

i dont think the first few games matter too much sure your uncertainty is high but you have like so many more games to grind it back up. in one of my smurfs i did afk riki/necro/furion for around 20 games ( for the 40 game criteria) and then played properly the last 6-7 games to get back to vh from normal tier

I did reach vh in my 3rd game i did pretty well in 90% of my games i want to know if stacking with low skilled friends will effect my hidden mmr
