I thought Valve had introduced that feature for which the game will not count if they detect poor internet connection. I have been in several games like that (where my friend would dc due to poor connection), but apparently, nothing happens.
my connection is not bad so i don't think it would work in my case as otherwise anyone could just unplug their cable to dodge

so i wanted to play ranked and when i found a game at some time in the pick phase before i decided on what hero i will play my internet went out for no reason

but then in a few minutes my internet went back and when i reconnected i found out the game randomed timbersaw for me without my consent and i could not repick
not that i don't like him, i do but either i'm shit as him or he does not fit the meta, or both
of course my team was full of retarded carries who only wanted to play what they want without regard for lineups so we lost cause i dunno how to 2 vs 5 as timbersaw
