Support Question on Mid-Late Game in General Discussion

@Ayumilove @gg @Soultrap I see the stats posted by Ayumilove at very high skill. Just a question how many of those SS are playing as pure support vs playing a semi-carry role and mid ss. Though I agree that maxing fork is the most efficient build on the ss as a DoTA hero if you play him as a pure support for a safe lane carry basically baby sitting and roaming ganks I go the disable build.

Usually when I see someone on my team pick jug (or it looks like they are going to pick) I get ss or cm. I found with the initial shackle I and the disables I get get the jug a ton of kills early on in the game vs most offlaners. But I will have to tinker with my build because I would probably be more efficient if I could push out lanes solo and drop wards as part of a split (that's only going to happen if I have fork maxed).

    Thanks for all the input.

i think ive only seen mid ss only once during the past 6 months i played.. its really rare.
the thing about maxing shackle is that it is completely useless in teamfight situations, you can rarely pull off full duration shackles so there is really no point in maxing it.. sure the max disable build is more threatening in a 3v1 situation, but if you really want the disable i rather you go max hex with a 042 build.. honestly shackle has shit scaling of 0.75 sec which is really not worth adding, and in ganks even going 141 build the 140 dmg from fork is more likely better anw..

my friend is 5.3k 96th SS, he goes the 441 build sometimes skipping further levels of shackle for stats.. not that i agree but goes to show how useless it is..
