steam support, only way, write a ticket

As far as I know, if this is your first time requesting your items back from Steam Support after your account has been compromised, they will return your items. Any subsequent tickets they will not return your items (that's what they told me roughly a year ago).

how do they compromise your account?

I got a gift from "unknown user" a week ago, there's pretty weird
how the fuck can we "trade" or "gift" and be labbeled as "unknown"

i think when they change name or something like that it becomes unknown

open steam, press Support button in the bar on the top of the page, then follow the instructions.
