not really. I've gone from like 2900 to 3800 and people are all the same. Some are assholes, some are nice, some make appropriate picks, some want to play all carry teams or run their support as a carry with dagons.

i had exp with many people:
2k - no one gives a fuck
3k - you can be good player/smurf (i did 3000-4000 test on friends acc) and sometimes idiots will call you noob when endgame you might have 40 kda and he is sitting on 1...
4k -everyone thinks he is pro, others suck so much. I heard tons of YO MAMMA jokes in eng/rus languages and so on. Very very flamy topic; many people yell on mics and demand *dumb* stuff , seek for scapegoats

The funniest is when other team flames: thanks for the ez mmr! or when your team gets so pissed and says crap like you just lost me mmr! Like mmr can be converted into real life cash or something. Mmr is completely meaningless when you're under 5500 or whatever point you have a shot of winning real tournys. The reward for winning matches and going up 50 mmr? You get matched against people who are 50 mmr higher than your last couple games. That's it.
You have to understand. We play to win, if you join a game and have the support role and you DON'T fucking do your job i will fucking flame you if I'm not feeling friendly.
It is a teamgame and your performance directly affects my performance. There're some ideal ways to play and if you don't play like that you're doing something wrong and you should get shit for that if, after being called out for it, instead of accepting the failure you are as a player and try to do better you start dismissing it and shifting the blame, thinking you're all good when you're not even close to even decent!
So if i don't get a proper game, and I'm not talking about the other side playing well but out side playing like shit, you can't expect me to carry properly later! Or even enjoy the game because there are limits to how shit things can go and still be like whatever a fail is a fail. And the problem is THEY DON'T EVEN RECOGNIZE IT AS FAIL. Its like Oh magic that didn't work, slark got lucky, etc. Fucking shit players srsly.
Lots of flamin in low 3k trench, got better in high 3k trench. low 4k trench is lots of giving up, reporting and flaming again - luckily the easiest mmr trench of my life so far. 76% winrate this week.
I don't think looking at every single move your teamates do is a good thing, Benao, it's not gonna help you get better. Who gives a fuck about winning or losing, The most important is to GET GOOD. I'm not saying you're a bad player, but you're probably an unpleaseant person to play with. Well, i would mute you immediatly, anyway. I'd rather reassure them. I once had a 0-8 veno in the offlane, i did explain him what to do, without getting mad, then he did proceed to play well and thanking me later.

I do play to win cus winning is more fun than losing. But the way people get so upset over an arbitrary number is hilarious. What's really the difference if I am 4k or 3k? Everyone on dotabuff still thinks I suck either way and I'm never going to go pro either way. And if dota is matching me correctly I'll win half my games regardless.
to me it always felt like people had really strong opinions and got really mad if you disagreed in 1/2k. I once suggested that a weaver with 50HP go heal and got "DONT EVER TELL ME WHAT TO FUCKING DO" screamed at me over a mic, another time I had a bane follow me around all game and spam nightmare on me all game for kill stealing as viper and then trying to tell him that it was probably better that I got the kill anyway (didn't know to turn allow player help off then). now in the slightly less Dorito brained bracket people seem a lot less angry over everything, although I am told that mid 4k is the worst so ill see if it really is worse when(if) I get there.

Does mindset and people manners are better at higher mmr? I won like 300 mmr in a few days and i only got a few flamers, and they were not that bad. Is it real or is it illuminati consipracy?
