Same, its almost a month but im using the popout method example if you want to watch some channels just put /popout after the channel eg: www.twitch.tv/geloacedota/popout
I think it has to do with twitch being hacked.
If you change the pw on your twitch account it should be fixed.
Try logging out of twitch and checking the channel, chat should work.
