General DiscussionCaptains mode players, what do you ban in this patch first?

well unless you are facing a decent stack bans/picks dont matter, because more often than not people will pick what they can play
and ban to what they lost previous games

undying, bristle, centaur, silencer, omniknight, leshrac
just meta picks thaat you are not willing to pick yourself

i tell you from the experience of my highskill stack where 3k player is captain

Yeap Dark Flame, that is true. We usually do ban heroes we don't like playing against. Especially in mid3k-low4k =D

Yeah we used to always ban Doom and Silencer, especially since we could handle the "META" heroes. Last patch, I always banned Sniper because I hated it so much in that patch and we all know what he was about. This patch is still new and things to learn, so I'm just being lazy and don't want to analyze too much. We try to have fun.

I usually pick CM for the Lols anyway =D

cm's winrate is more than 56% atm, which is much, much higher than before. its quite a good default support pick.

Yeah but CM is my signature hero, so my friends dont expect me to pick it out of the blue. I also have mixed feelings about playing the 5 CM when my buddies can't stay focused half the time (and more stuff) :P

and thanks for your help on the metapick options up there Triple. I felt those were the necessary bans too. I don't see a lot of Omniknight but the rest are what I had thought of

Considering the heroes I like to draft and play my self...

I would ban heroes like SF, Bristle, Storm, BS (if your are picking heroes with invis or shadow blade), Treant, Chen, TA, Undying, Shaman, Venge, Lion

Lifestealer and Clock depending on what they draft
If people would draft Riki I would ban or pick him but people dont draft him.

BTW, why do I never see Tide anymore? Is it because I switched from CM to AP?

Centaur with agha seem totally broken but I have never seen him in-game during 6.84.

I used to have WD as a default ban. He is probably even better now in 6.84.

undying and visage are extremly mean in that patch, considering you have to attack zombies (no spell to kill anymore !!) and visage bat require FOUR! hits to die (also no more spell)
