u might even get kileld multiple times if u lane vs him due him having insanely high physical damage nuke on low lvls

zeus doesn't do shit either unless u got ranged heroes in team(which might get forced and killed anyway)

Just pick shit that wins late game cus you know it's going late, and make sure you have ranged heroes on your team. Like medusa, sniper, spectre.

Anti-mage with heart can penetrate his base defense + blink regen helps alot.

furion is probably one of the best counters. eith hold gem or necro3 and send your trees up highground 1 at a time. youre best hope is a team with decent range.

sniper is pretty good, naga, tb work only cause he is a great late game though.

Morph is good too, with the agah replicate it works wonder.

I think Beastmaster and Visage are great because they both provide flying vision without having to buy an item for it, and that is key for the lategame when you have a gem and Techies has to mine in the nooks between the trees. Note that flying units don't actually trigger the land mines. You can still have the visage birds attack the mines with your hero at a safe distance. Beastmaster can run his boar into land mines to demine them. If I lived in Afghanistan I'd definitely run a pig in front of me at all times, it's just common sense.

How is Sniper bad against TEchies? I see no Logic lol

I have BS in about 75% of my matches its sad but I would probably be happy to have techies in a game.

Earth Spirit is the best counter to Techies.

Just push your most useless teammate to the mines, so you'll give Techies a 20 kill streak. Later on, you and your team will kill that Techies for ez 2500 bounty gold, which you tell your team it was the plan from the start.

It could be any hero with summons, or any illusion spammer

If you find yourself in the situation where you teamwipe them but still can't push into their base, then blink dagger is a good option.

counter to techies is a clinks with gem if he planting traps. I think the other way to counter is to silence if he going suicide squad attack build, and just be aware where you walk. Anyway, making the techies irrelevant is the best. Just ignore him.

Beastmaster, bird can follow techies around to see where he is placing his mines. Boar acts as a easy landmine sacrifice.

Or just 5 man down a lane from level 1 and watch Techies be useless

husk isnt that good vs techies bec if he detonates all remotes at once you cant take advantage of any magic resist since you were at full hp

Even if you detonate all at once they are seperate damage instances, that's you can't kill abaddon without level 3 remotes.

i think that if you detonate them at once it's gonna be 1 instance and huskar/abbadon will die

I just checked and even if you blow them up at the same time, they explode with like 0.1 second intervals, causing it to be seperate instances of damage.

well i just did it and they died

lvl 8 huskar with maxed shit died from 4 ultis

because huskar resistance instances take longer than 1milliseconds to add, i guess.

and abbadon lvl 25 died if sitting on top of the mines

from only 5

I've been tinkering with this for about 10 minutes and it's kinda inconsistent actually. Also there seems to be a difference between manually detonating all bombs together and using focused detonate.

for me abbadon has to stay on top of them, to get the full damage, i just press the detonate area skill thing (dont know how its called)

Okay I think I got it now.
Huskar doesn't die if you explode all mines together using the button on the mines, but he dies if you use focused detonate.
Abaddon however, actually didn't die at all in my tries. Not even the level 3 ulti which deals 450 damage, above the ulti threshold kills him for some reason.

We are talking about remotes here though.

Visage is an underused counter to techies. Birds give vision and can't be harmed by mines and Visage needs a lot of mines to kill him when his Gravekeeper cloak is maxed.

To kill a level 25 Visage it takes:

7 level 4 physical mines

or

5 level3 remote mines

Heroes with silence or orchid buyers can rek his little ass pretty damn hard.
