well if you didnt even keep your highest medal, the system would be literally pointless. as it stands, its still useful for something: actual milestones, unlike 4k, 5k w/e that you just drop out of in one game.
there wouldnt be a problem if it was just an addition to showing avg + top mmr and not the replacement
make it sit somewhere in ur profile as a trophy or whatever, just let me know whos the top mmr/current and whats the average
