ignore retards but try to carry a tp and fight with your team, this is important imo, i often ignored fights when i wanted to farm and then my team got wiped 4v5. don't let them go without you like that because they won't listen and feed, with your presence as a snowballing hero (especially if you tp without enemy team seeing you) is teamfighting much easier, improving in awareness and teamfights helps a lot because a ton of people just run around and hit/cast stuff like headless chickens
also theorycrafting before teamfight (we can't teamfight because xyz will happen so we shouldn't def and dodge teamfights) is rather a bad idea from my experience, this lost me a lot of games too, where i could participate in defending/fighting and we would win
i guess that i/we're too bad/not experienced enough to have sense for this stuff
just try to avoid obvious shit like not stacking on each other against magnus/tide/es, staying out of sight with supports/initiators

PL gets absolutely rekt by phoenix if you don't get bkb (which is bad for pl).
Otherwise skip vlads, you don't need it. Ring of regen gives enough health for farming. Go for yasha as first item, then diffusal then travels. treads are not really useful on him, you're rather globally active then having a few stats.

also get quelling blade if you aren't already, it boosts your illusions a lot. I usually keep it until I start my 6th item.
