He played unranked games before, without picking a hero. There is currently an exploit that allows you to go through the whole match, normally earning XP, without picking a hero, without getting an abandon.
That's why his top heroes are still empty even though he played some games where he picked heroes. All 3 spots are actually taken by the "unknown hero".

As for the low game hours, there is a way to play a game without getting the hours counted. It could also be a bug with the mobile application showing incorrect data, since this info is not normally visible when a user has not set a profile.

How did you meet him if he hasn't played any matches?
