I mean duhhhhhh....there is a normal MM hidden rank and everyone knows that the more you win the harder it gets. There is no such thing as forced 50% just as you get closer to the ceiling the game gets harder for you individually or your opponents are usually much better than the ones you're used to beating. It's completely normal.

I believe Valve loosened match making criteria or something. For example, this game http://www.dotabuff.com/matches/2307089086 I had more than 1300 games, but I still got matched with a person that played only 3 games (DP)

@TripleSteal-: yeah true I agreed it has nothing to do with number of games played. However 2 games only and got matched up with 5.5k mmr player? If match making is working properly, such things cannot happen.
I suggest if you guys want to make your profile pretty this is definitely a good time as mm is not working properly.
why? hidden mmr and "real" mmr are separate.
i got high 3ks hidden solo/party, and mid 5ks as actual mmr. when i queue in unranked, i get matched wi ppl from high 3ks (well, actually i dont queue in unranked, but i could).
there are 4 separate mmrs: prty unranked, solo unranked, party ranked, and solo ranked. unranked MM is based on solo unranked. solo unranked can be different to solo ranked, and this latter one is not considered at all in NMM.

I noticed that in the past, once you won normal match making games to some certain point, games became insanely hard - seeing even pro players once every a while.
However recently, I've been spamming normal games. After winning so many games, I still haven't seen games getting much harder http://www.dotabuff.com/players/86745055/matches and my winrate is still going up. So far I really enjoy normal games, much less toxic than MMR games.
