The cut off points for MMR brackets are roughly:
<3100 Normal
<3700 High
>=3700 Very High

I played solo, no friend to party

that means there were dogshit players in this match so avg mmr was below 3.7k. Check other player profiles in that match, they were high - normal skill.

you are probably close to the borderline of hs and vhs, so depending on the other 9 players, u can get either hs or vhs

Lol, true. At times we will just be matched with players with bigger difference in mmr. Some way higher and some way lower. For higher mmr players like 5, 6, 7k they tends to get matched in a team more frequent due to less top tier players out there
