Ranked MMR and Unranked MMR are two different systems. Your unranked MMR is hidden, but you can see your ranked MMR. You gain unranked MMR through normal pub play, and ranked MMR through playing ranked. Your unranked pub games are Very High Skill because your unranked MMR is about 3.7k, and your ranked games are only High Skill because your ranked MMR is below 3.7k.

It actually isn't because he played bad... You should read my previous comment. All of his unranked games are in Very High Skill and all of his ranked games are in High Skill.

Sir Swirl, ty for your most helpful comment. I am not a consistant dota player, and will have good and bad streaks. However, I was just commenting on the fact that the drop from vhs to hs was sudden.
