With armlet you can actually be usefull, when you rush straight radiance youre not really fight ready until you got Radi, BoT Manta and some hp in form of a point or vit booster, Armlet is just an absurdly amazing item atm.
I wouldn't question current pro and meta builds, especially not as normal skill player, just follow them and profit..

Here in 2k normal skill scrub you can get 6 slotted at 25 mins ish, thats why i always looking for bigger item.
Going armlet route still let you finish armlet + radiance at 14 min mark if you don't die and farm some stacks.
2 most important advantages of armlet are:
1. Armlet + Chemical Rage makes u almost invincible even in 1v2 scenario which is needed due to alchemist being gank magnet.
2. Armlet + Chemical Rage lets u farm ancients stacks with armlet toggling which boost your radiance farming capabilities.
its an insane item for such a low cost, but if you are rly getting 6-slotted in like 20 min and no one bothers ganking you and stuff u can skip it (only for the current mmr bracket u are playing)
but ye, try it in few games and see whats better for you in 2k
^you can fuck up AA before he fucks you though. Armlet can help you do just that.

When i play alchemist, i always rush radiance after soul ring/bottle and boots. Do u guys think armlet is a good item before purchasing a radiance? And why?
