fried milkfish tastes pretty meaty to me. Roast milkfish esp if it's really fat is just awesome. Gee thanks for reminding me that I skipped dinner tonight.
I ate sole once, but it literally tasted like nothing? it only had a consitency like pudding.. so was it my parents that fucked up the cooking (they're actually cooking quite well) or the fish itsself? it was our first and only time eating sole
well, its pretty soft generally.
but u need to use species or even breading to make if taste better.
alright lets change this topic to how to make the most fucking tastiest sandwich the world has ever fucking tasted.
(cucumbers)
[kolbasa]
<cheese>
[Bread]
or
[tomato]
<cheese> - - -> oven
[Bread]
i refrain from putting tomato on my sandwich if i want to bake it w/ cheese.. the tomato tends to fuck up everything
Rock cod is delicious when fried.
Dorado is really nice aswell.
Seared Tunais amazingI
I like seabass, gilt-head bream and bluefish. Also octopi, squid and shrimp tastes fine too.
Mangrove Jack, Mackeral, Golden Trevally, Bream, Sand whiting.
Hm now that I think of it basically the entire ocean that's around me Great Barrier Reef op
I recommend trying swordfish if you can get it somewhere. It was good When i tried in Malta once. It came like a proper meat steak, not like normal fish thats a fucking flipflop.
Im not sure if its more Common in stores somewhere else than the baltic states
Also king sized prawns, surimi and octopus is gud
Mb just me but uncooked fish taste much smoother than the cooked, many of the species I could eat raw that I hate cooked. Thing is, eating raw fish ain't cheap, as its hard to keep it clean from all kinds of bacteria
Any kind of fish will taste good as long as they are cooked well. Also European anchovy is quite popular here in Turkey. There are lots of ways to cook it, it's quite cheaper than most other fish and also easy to eat because it's small.
Tuna and swordfish are pretty meaty and not fishy tasting at all. Usually grilled like a steak too.
Most other fish tastes like fish. Which is fine. Talapia is strangely popular here but it's very delicate texture and taste. Really only good if it comes with a ton of fat and seasoning like a lemon butter sauce.
Salmon is quite a meaty fish but fishy tasting.
Talapia is a pest in Australia and there is so many but it's illegal to eat them. There's is about 10 in the small part of the creek in my backyard alone
tuna smells like when you piss in a jug and put the lid on and leave it sitting stagnent for 2 weeks. that is literally what tuna smells like.

HeyGuys
I'm a big fan of salmon, even though overall I'm not a big fan of fish (either because they taste reaaaally fucking weird or smell like shit).
So I was wondering wether any1 can recommend some good fish that either doesn't taste too fishy or tastes like meat (chicken f.e.)
