I use them always i made a new account and reached high skill but on this one i cant for some reason
buy magical wand on heroes sometimes. when ur a carry buy shit as soon as you have enough gold. if u go tango stout qb get boots the second u hit 400, if u go rop get sages mask asap, etc. if u use the side shop and ur laning opponent doesn't ull get boots way quicker and probably kill him depending on who u are
Use Bottle on teammates when you have TPed from fountain.
ALT click clock whenever Roshan dies and always know Aegis reclaim time and first respawn time.
Careful with the courier pre-upgrade. Especially versus BH, Riki and Furion. For some reason lots of WWs and SDs also love to snipe the courier early on when mid is getting Salve or Tangos.
Don't fucking ward enemy's mid high ground while it's day time if you're not fucking smoked.
Don't tilt and spit venom to teammates. (note to self)
Don't buy only 1 set of regen if you're safelane.
Buy someone a TP if they need it. 50 gold is better than your teammate falling behind from the start
The only thing I do in tread switching is when I'm healing myself. I don't how the math works but you gain about 5% - 10% regeneration bonus if you tread switch. Same works when you are in fountain.
^ It is not a constant percentage bonus that you get; it is dependent on the percentage of extra HP/mana you get from the STR/INT treads in comparison with your maximum HP/mana without the treads.
Fountain though, it works only for mana not for HP, so just remove your items that give INT and it will be fine.
Here is an actual amazing tip. Don't use TP in the early game as a support to reach the lane faster. It is a 70 (!) seconds cooldown and you might need to help someone. So don't fucking TP for nothing.
Drop all items when regening on fountain esp when u r in a rush for quick full hp nd mana.
YEAH MIGHTY DUCK IS COMPLETLY RIGHT ROFL LMAO DUMBASS ITS PERCENTAGE BASED XD XD XD XD XD XD
autoattack active only after casting a magic
when midd give u botle if u tp,bottle him once and give him back
tell on microphone what hero reached 6 (tide, void etc..)
If you save money and buy a 800 gold item when you have 1000 gold, your 200 reliable gold (midas, hero kills and shit) will stay unspent, you won't lose that gold, when you die. Sometimes it's good to hoard money, hope it helps ^^.
Practice, passion, mental attitude, perserverance, dedication.
That's some things you'll need.
Tbh treads switching doesn't make u better , it's your decision making ,game sense and mechanical skills that help u improve your bracket. Plus stay positive PMA
stack a camp when you're around at :5x
go for free kills
don't chase too far for kills
push highground or at least poke their buildings a little whenever you get the opportunity, passive playstyle will lose you TONS of games
walk to lane with pretty much any hero unless you're a core who has like 3 waves coming to his tower OR you're 100% sure there won't be any fight in next 70 seconds (im not sure about tping as mid early game when you die, hard to apply some rule there imo)
dont go for melee rax first when splitpushing unless you're sure that you can destroy them in one go (regen+higher armor)
listen your elders (aka high mmr players)
dont waste time with ranged rax when you're trying to destroy as many buildings as possible, just get tower melee and switch to another lane
Look at their team and think 'If i were them, what would i do'
Then tell your team mate to get the fuck back because the batrider + nyx is missing.
Tread switching is actually not that big of a deal unless you are healing with a salve or using bottle. Or you're farming jungle on a hero like slark, switch to int every time you dark pact.
Other than that just remember to use it in a pinch, like when you're about to die switch to str to squeeze out some more hp, or if chasing someone and out of mana to stun switch to int. But stressing out over perfectly tread swapping before every spell is stressful and may be counterproductive.
as far as i understood the topic, u want some simple things and not general advice regarding improvement.
as safelane carry u usually want to see ur ranged creep first, block the melee ones. as a support, u want the enemy ranged creep to run last, and their offlaner doesnt want it, so he blocks melee. u need to face the wave close to his tower and tank several hits from the ranged creep to stop him.
as mid, u want to keep ur first ranged creep on ur hg so u can easily deny it.
if u have a midas off cd and only have a normal creep wave around, its usually better to wait untill u can get to neutrals. i saw someones calculations proving it and they were correct, dont ahve this doc now tho.
as a roamer-support dont hesitate to deny urself to neutral creeps if u r low on mana and hp instead of running back to fountain, it saves ur time. buy out b4 doing it, so that no gold would be lost.
when you are offlaning and u see enemy supps pulling the big camp, u can rush there and force creeps´agro by pressing A on an enemy heroñ it will drag the creep wave back form their way to the neutral creep camp.
when u have vision of the enemy tyeam blink initiator, spam euls-hex-any other disable on him and immediatly cancel it all the time b4 the fight, so that when he blinks in, hell be disabled immediatly.
oh I got a tip! when playing a hero with an orb effect like clinkz searing arrows or huskar fire arrows or drow frost arrows, attacking the enemy with the orb auto cast will draw aggro from the wave but manually clicking the orb on the hero won't. It's called orb walking. It's why it's so easy to zone out with silencer as support.
Download an Interval Timer app on your phone, set it to beep every 1 min. Start it at 0:41. The beep will remind you to stack camps and get runes.
bumped guys this is my smurf im brez all the info you guys have given me boosted me into high skilll bracket ty so much guys
Map awareness and go play in a custom lobby and last hit for a couple hours with whatever hero you're best at. If you're sup them 100% map awareness
Dodge parties if u can define that it exactly is (for example u r quing 3000 and u see 3600 solo mmr guy in one of the teams). Do never rely on them
Check the scoreboard regularly to see the enemy levels.
As a core(AM for example) at mid game, don't go back to base to regenerate 50% of your hp, let the courier bring you a salve instead and farm safely in the jungle meanwhile
Get (starting) items according to your enemy line up instead of what you usually get.
Please get 8 tangos in safelane and let your support stack, pull and roam mid freely
Check your minimap regularly to know the enemy position or if they're attempting a smoke gank
Don't engage in a lost fight, try split pushing or farming instead. But if you're a support, then gods speed.
Quelling blade > stout shield, as a carry
No need to flame your teammates, it will bring nothing to the table except bad performance and lack of communication(Muted)
Don't engage in a fight without your key ultimates(chronosphere, rp, ravage, etc...)
Try not to use chat a lot, for it would distract you from the current situation
Move in between hits instead of just clicking on the enemy
Don't stick to one skill build, level up what you think is more helpful
Chain stun during a gank or fight instead of throwing everything at once
Don't ward highground during the day unless if smoked
Remember the armor value of all heroes in the match so you don't make mistakes such as using chronosphere alone against terrorblade because he has %40 remaining hp
Be a step ahead of your enemy during picking phase
Trees are your friends. Unless you're against Timbersaw
Go on the correct target as a carry. Like, if a Drow is getting dragged back to your team by an allied Batrider, you're better off to jump on the Dazzle and Oracle in the back.
Try to remember the enemy tp cooldowns.
Don't chase too far for kills
Roshan fights are dangerous, don't go into the pit when the enemy aren't in the minimap.
#StayHydrated
I know I'm still trash but these tricks helped me to improve drastically
PMA
Map awareness
Skill knowledge (can this shit get purged, can this shit get dodged)
Versatility (on heroes,skillbuilds,and item builds)
Know when to push, know when to farm, know when to fight
Try to actually give more fucks about not missing last hits
Know what is creep aggro and how to control them
Learn to outdraft (hardest imo)
Managed to get high skill too on my smurf, learnt alot more playing against actually ok people than against braindead noobs
Pick lich for dual offlane against 1 carry scenario. Sacrifice is something u cannot underestimate.
AA doesnt really counter Alchemist as people may think, neither roaming support since the more effort u put into stopping alch from farming with 2-3 people, the more farmed their safelane carry becomes. And Alch can comeback very fast. Pick QuoP or Storm for mid instead and a havy right-clicker like Sven for safe lane.
Attack with A button instead of rightclicks. I think many people are ashamed to even admit misrightclicking
