From what ive seen its usually aether after sr or urn or something but idk for sure. Why not aether and force? Aether will increase force range too i think.
i always make hood+vanguard first, then arcane boots, lens, blink, agham :)
but i still play pudge mid, 61% wr, but still you might not listen to me as im living in dota 1 :D
^pudge mid works if ur the support LUL
Problem is every hero in dota trades better than pudge. Also vang sounds bad unless u want crimson (eg brood or pl)
Watch qupe stream hes the public pudge Player. If u get many kills get urn, if not skip and and stick to your build. But in any case u need tranquiles for the speed.
of u have alot flesh heap go tranq urn midas aether blademail etc
if u dont have get urn blink etc
With +2 mana regen talent you can skip Soul Ring, but surprisingly the guides shows a lot of them going for 8 Str and uses Soul Ring
Maybe they deny themselves for respawns so mana is not the issue
also I found this Pudge with lvl 9 talent

Get Tranquil (also Magic Wand and Wind Lace)
Aether and/or Blink
I think it's pretty standard, I always start to doubt someone if they bought any items other than these

I am wondering what the optimal builds are. I have checked DB Guides and it seems that Pudge can be played MANY different ways.
For the most part, I roam and my build looks like this.
Smoke, Wind Lance, Clarities, Tangos - starting.
Tranq, Soul Ring, Wand, Blink
whatever else is needed.
I am wondering if items like Aether Lense, Urn, and Bottle are good pre-20 minute items to get. Personally, I skip Aether Lense in favor of a force staff, and go Soul Ring instead of Urn.
Any more experienced (blue Stars) who have better early game item staples to give?
