I'll tell you that secret. when I smurf I saw something. valve is automatically downloading an anti-smurf for dota 2 virus that curses *infects* your dota 2 files and allows a code to make your account vunurable as a smurf if they detected your a solo ip address. the file is small about 1.3mb and the only way to get rid of it is. sorry I will not tell you its an easy method and valve might patch it.
I went on a losing streak earlier this week. I am forcefully taking a 3-5 day break binge watching anime. This has happened before. Take a small break and it will sort itself out. I'm down 200 party mmr solo has been steady at 3.1 though..
Well... i've been playing a lot with a buddy of mine and we are having (an unranked) losing spree. 3 wins in last 15 games (and it's probably worse if you look at the past 2/3 weeks)
We know we arent very good but we were able to kinda just hang on in there and have a somewhat 50/50 win loss which is ok for me.
But lately it feels like we are just getting outpicked every time we play. We seem to end up with people not picking, forcing us to pick first and then they end up picking something completely idiotic against the enemy line up.
Again we know we suck but why are we not getting any sucky opponents or somewhat less sucky allies to compensate? i thought that was what matchmaking was suppose to do.. :P It's getting to a point i feel like dota is just a waste of time since i am not enjoying it anymore.
always quit playing after 2 losses or 2 wins (unless you are feeling really lucky, sometimes you have to keep going when you win)
also you have to appease the valve gods by playing at least 2 other games for an hour each, valve sees you play other games and they will put you on the winning team in matchmaking, ez
