Basically yes.

That being said ive had mmr canges of 2k+within a single match(i payed 8 matches afk then 9th i stomped and tryharded my best) and it went from 3k to 5k just like that.

But after the calibration period youre pretty safe as mmr will only move up/down by +-25 like ranked.

Only difference is just that u cant see your hidden unranked mmr.

I have no idea what the exact number of unranked calibration/smurf detection matches are, i just know its a number between 10 to 20, probavly 15~ but id need to do more testing

there is no smurf after dota 2 fixed the matchmaking
