He has high armor and low movement speed and his ultimate scales with attack speed. So I think his boot should be treads and MoM should be one of his core items. BKB and Wand are often necessary and beyond debate. Mjolnir has good synergy with his skill set and synergies well with MoM too. The remaining two spots belong to situational items.
Armlet doubles DK's strength points: high armor, high strength, high regen but provides only 25 AS. MoM solves one of his weakness: low mobility and provides him with much needed 120 AS. Both are good and even Armlet+MoM is good too. But in my opinion the new MoM synergies with DK's skill set and stats more than Armlet.
His talent already gives 40 dmg, so it's all the legit to get more attack speed to efficiently improve the DPS
attack speed isn't a problem early, its a problem late game.
but even then dk often buys stuff like ac and mjollnir for that.
the real problem dk has is dmg, which armlet gives.
the dk build is basically armlet blink/sb bkb ac/mjollnir/bloodthorn etc.
armlet makes u very hard to kill, and it gives very efficient dmg, MoM doesn't suit the front lining, tanky role.
Since when a hero with 500 range is a front line tanker/initiator?????
He is 11th on tower damage and 40-something on hero damage.
I know you have an inner dissatisfied troll. You were building HotD on DK before rework. But now you question building MoM on him.
Since when is a hero with 500000 armor, aoe dmg reduction, the ability to push towers/hg a backline dmg dealer?
None of his abilities deal a lot of dmg.
