playing normal games could effect his calibrating mmr, think like that if he keep play like 300 more unranked games and down to bad skill bracket games, hes calibrating games will reduce down either.
but no worries, keep play your calibrating mmr dont scare to be down, hes only be able to calibrate his mmr maximum 3.500 anyway, nothing more. if he play with good kda he might achieve that.
also heres my tip: if you start lose the game, buy sentries and sell them. then ur supporting will be improve , and calibrating mmr does escalate supporting in game.
ranked is capped at 3.5k, he's not going up much even if he stomps the next 5.
if he doesn't stomp then he belongs to that bracket, as soon as he stops somping mmr gets stuck there.
so he can get to 3.5k or be stuck at 2.8k.

Hey guys Just wanna ask.My friend played solo mmr he got 2.4k for the first match and he won magnificient with megas comback with high gpm and xpm and got +100 mmr.Second game also with high gpm and xpm.3Rd,4rd and5th game also both high and winning streak and he end up in 2.8k mmr.He to scared to continue bcos afraid not perform good in the next 5 games.if he play normal games now instead of playing ranks it effect the solo mmr of not? Bcos he still 5 games tbd,dont have solo yet..if he plays normal and perform very well every game..he has a good chance to get high mmr or the mmr just the 2.8k the same untill he play rank and perform and get +100 mmr..please answer..sorry fot the bad english..hahahag
