I have the same happening to me, if you open shop it shows all the item builds that are made for that hero + the one you made just click on yours and the list should be back.
make a build and favorite(star) it so it will appear on the top and u can select it each time this happens
if ure looking for a way to make ur builds not reset in the first place, there are none
